DELIVERY PROCESS:

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We deliver to more than 150 countries around the world and offer different shipping services based on our customer needs.

DELIVERY PERIOD

Your items should arrive within 4-14 days after it has been shipped. For details, after your items have been shipped we will send you a tracking number, with which you can confirm the status of your delivery. However, please be aware that if your package undergoes inspection at customs in the country of delivery, it may arrive later than expected.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

International orders are shipped with Fedex or TNT. All orders require a signature upon receipt. It is not possible to redirect an order once it has been shipped.

All orders are fully traceable with the tracking code. So you will always be able to see where your package is and can get the latest shipping status. Usually TNT delivers packages between 8am – 5pm (weekdays only). Please note that we are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes.

All costs will be charged to you if items are shipped back to our warehouse due to reasons such as non-delivery and non-payment of customs duty and taxes. We are not liable for any errors that result from an incorrect order received from you. Please confirm the following: content, description, model number, specifications, size, color and quantity of item before you placing your order.

Some products are “custom made” and may take up to 14 days until the handmade piece is shipped to you.

INSURANCE

Sokalo insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. All orders require your signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes e.g. a gift, then you accept that evidence of a signature by them is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by Sokalo, as well as transfer of responsibility in the same way.

TAXES AND DUTIES

If your country is part of the European Union (EU), prices include Austrian VAT at 20 %. All countries within the European Union are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that taxes and duties are included in the price at checkout.

To countries outside the European Union may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes. As the recipient you are liable for all import duties, customs and local taxes from the country you are shipping to. In this case your order is shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that the price displayed at checkout are exclusive of all taxes and duties as well as Austrian VAT. We are unable to advise you on the exact amount of Duties and Taxes your package will incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs on arrival. You will be invoiced for the local taxes and duties by the courier company. As we are unable to advise you on the exact amount, we recommend you to contact your local Fedex or TNT office to obtain a landed cost estimate.

ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT METHODS

We offer a wide range of payment options for you to choose from. The standard option through the website is paypal. However you can pay by advance payment and transfer the total amount to our bank account. For these types of payments, please send an email to: customercare@sokalo.com
