After Karin created rings with a bubble she wondered about doing flowers. She had never seen felted flowers anywhere else and started creating different blossoms; soon the idea of flowers made into rings was born. Karin has taught in numerous places, such as the Institute for New Studies, Lichtenstein, where she taught concepts concerning colour and shape. She also taught at the School of Art, Basel. She also was Manager of "SATO.SCHLAF RÄUME", as well as co-owner of "MAD MODE". Since 1998 she has owned her own textile-design business and created her own label.
